Marlene Marshall - Director and Owner

 

Marlene knew she wanted to use her own personal career experiences to bring a different learning environment for children. Having worked in the medical and childcare industries for over 24 years, this was her time to use those trained skills. Marlene and her husband Darryl of 30+ years decided to open Kitz Korner Day Care in 2014. She lived in New Orleans, Louisiana, served in the Army Reserve and National Guard for ten years before settling in San Antonio, Texas where they have resided since 2002. Marlene has a passion for nurturing children to reach their fullest potential as she did with her two children and now three grandchildren (a boy & twin girls).  As a resident of Bexar County, she is committed to excellence and building the children of tomorrow.
