The program is designed for those who have acquired competency through prior learning and/or life experience. It involves documentation of knowledge, skills and attitudes through submission of artifacts and reflective discussion about the learning process. 



Directors and administrators should have an understanding of the Director Credential "Core Knowledge Areas" and learning objectives:

- Positive Discipline Techniques (5 clock hours)

- Current Legal Trends and Issues (5 clock hours)

- Staff and Parent Relationships (5 clock hours)
